According to a source quoted by the portal, “Ranbir and Alia are both investing their hard-earned money to build their dream house. The total cost of the house will exceed ₹250 crore once completed, making it the most expensive bungalow in Mumbai compared to Shah Rukh Khan’s Mannat and Amitabh Bachchan’s Jalsa.”
Raha has the potential to become the wealthiest star kid in Bollywood.
Raha could potentially become the “richest star kid in Bollywood,” according to a source. The source mentioned that Ranbir Kapoor, deeply fond of his daughter Raha Kapoor, intends to name the bungalow after her, which would elevate her status in the industry. Additionally, Alia and Ranbir own four flats in Bandra collectively worth more than ₹60 crore.
Regarding taxation, although gifts like these are tax-exempt upon receipt in India, any future income or gains from these assets are subject to taxes, as reported by Live Mint.
Neetu Kapoor will be a co-owner of the bungalow.
The report also noted that Neetu Kapoor will be a co-owner of the bungalow, as her late husband Rishi Kapoor had designated her as the co-owner of all his properties. The source highlighted Neetu’s financial stability, mentioning her recent purchase of a luxurious house valued at ₹15 crore in Bandra.
It is also speculated that once the bungalow is ready, the entire Kapoor family, including Neetu, will live together under one roof. Currently, Alia and Ranbir reside with Raha at Vastu.
